Pharmacist 7on/7off Overnight

About the role
Overnight full-time position. Initially starting on a Floating overnight schedule, eventually transitioning to a 7on/7off schedule. This is a work-from-home position serving acute-care hospitals through our remote service, allowing you to practice hospital pharmacy outside of a hospital setting. You will utilize your clinical skills—including monitoring, dosing, and reviewing patient medication therapy—while the dispensing is handled by the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Remote order entry and CPOE order evaluation and verification
- Assure acquisition or renewal of all pharmacy staff licenses
- Perform as staff pharmacist as needed
- Physician and nursing consultations
- Clinical medication dosing services
- Review and monitoring of profiles and lab values for therapeutic outcomes
- Coordinate access to medications according to facility policy and procedures, and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
Requirements
- Active pharmacy license(s) in state of residence as well as state of original licensure
- Active CA license; ability to become licensed in NV and WY
- Must be able to reciprocate license in additional states as required for practice
- 2-4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience preferred
- Computer savvy to learn and perform successful operation of multiple pharmacy information systems
- Excellent communication skills to enable successful interactions with other healthcare professionals
Pay
Anticipated hourly range: $54.60 – $77.89 per hour
