Pharmaceutical Production Technician

About the role
This role operates on an overnight shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $25 to $27 per hour. As a Pharmaceutical Production Technician, you will play a vital role in the operation, production, and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals. The position involves maintenance and repairs of equipment such as chemistry modules and analytical equipment, as well as assisting in facility maintenance and system modifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on synthesis modules and analytical equipment.
- Perform PET radiopharmaceutical production and Quality Control (QC) in a cGMP environment.
- Responsible for routine production, packaging, and shipping of radioisotopes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory commitments and company policies and procedures, including cGMP and radiation safety.
- Maintain records to comply with FDA requirements.
- Order parts and supplies for maintenance and production.
- Clean and maintain production areas.
Requirements
- Academic background in life science, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, engineering, or electronic technology; or completion of training at an advanced military electronics school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have the ability to work the overnight shift (facility operates at night).
- Lab experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in production and quality control is preferred.
- Experience working with ionizing radiation and radioactive equipment is preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills are preferred.
- Working knowledge of cGMP environment and regulations is preferred.
