Pharmaceutical Production Lab Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Production Lab Technician to join our team. You will work as part of a team participating in hands-on production of culture media products, assist in general lab duties such as cleaning and handling of glassware and lab ware, weigh and dispense media ingredients, perform stringent quality control measures, and maintain detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team participating in hands-on production of culture media products
• Absorb and follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assist in general lab duties including cleaning and handling of glassware and lab ware
• Weigh and dispense media ingredients
• Perform stringent quality control measures
• Maintain detailed records

Requirements

• Formal education and/or hands-on experience working in a clean room environment performing detailed laboratory tasks
• Working knowledge of laboratory equipment, following detailed SOPs, and clean room procedures
• Knowledge of the metric system and ability to convert units within the system
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Experience with assembling and disassembling production equipment (preferred)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or related field

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
