Pharmaceutical Lab Technician
About the role
Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Radiopharmaceutical Technician to join our innovative team. This is a primarily overnight role requiring flexibility to rotate into alternative shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate chemistry instruments and advanced systems for manufacturing and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Prepare products for shipment, coordinate courier logistics, and provide customer support.
- Maintain aseptic environments and conduct environmental monitoring.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of critical equipment.
- Communicate with couriers and customers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of biomarkers.
- Support facility housekeeping, manage laboratory inventory, and create quality control documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations related to the production and transport of radioactive materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Specialized skill training or certification may be required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
- Basic computer skills such as spreadsheet, word processing, and email.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- An associate’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, or a related Life Science field.
- Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
- Previous work experience in a laboratory environment or related role.
- Previous experience with analytical laboratory equipment and laboratory software systems.
- Familiarity with radiation safety or ALARA principles.

- Able to apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a sterile environment.
- Able to understand, prioritize, and implement laboratory safety protocols.
Pay and Benefits
The base pay range for this position is $50,040 - $68,805. Factors affecting starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Commission eligibility and details are subject to the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
