Job Summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a skilled individual to join our team as an Environmental Monitoring Technician. This position involves collecting environmental monitoring and utility samples, performing pharmaceutical microbiology analyses, and maintaining compliance with quality control and safety procedures.

About the Role

This role requires weekend, holiday, and occasional overtime work to meet client schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect Environmental Monitoring (EM) and utility samples at client facilities using sampling protocols and associated documents
• Perform analyses for pharmaceutical microbiology (routine and non-routine) as needed
• Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability
• Maintain equipment
• Pack and ship samples
• Use aseptic techniques
• Clean rooms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• At least one year of GMP or manufacturing environment experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

The position is full-time, M-F 8 am to 5 pm. May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
