About the role
Evio is seeking a health plan experienced pharmacist for the role of Pharmaceutical Contracts Customer Partner to provide clinical and operational support for Evio’s pharmaceutical manufacturer contracting and administration arrangements.
This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your clinical pharmacy expertise, contracting knowledge, and health plan operational acumen while effectively communicating and collaborating with stakeholders to advance Evio’s pharmaceutical contracting-related objectives and services.
This role will focus on supporting Evio’s medical benefit contracting and administrative arrangements with Synergie Medication Collective, which is a contracting organization founded by a group of Blue Cross and Blue Shield affiliated companies.
As a subject matter expert, you will serve as a key liaison between Synergie, Evio, and Evio customer plans, ensuring alignment with their needs and driving customer success.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze offerings, including contract terms and health plan requirements, from pharmaceutical manufacturers to ensure clarity and completeness.
- Identify and help resolve incomplete or unclear contract terms when applicable.
- Serve as subject matter expert for contract-related and rebate invoicing inquiries from Evio customer plans, ensuring inquiries and responses are clear, accurate, and address customers’ needs.
- Support issue resolution by investigating questions and helping drive practical customer-focused solutions.
- Partner with Evio internal teams using your clinical knowledge and health plan experience to support:
- Invoicing administration
- Development of new Evio product offerings
- Manufacturer contracting efforts
- Other related initiatives that leverage your expertise
Requirements
- Background Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) with Residency, or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
- A current and unrestricted pharmacist license in at least one state.
- 2+ years of experience with pharmaceutical contracting medical benefit drugs and related invoicing operations (either direct contract or vendor oversight).
- 3+ years of health plan pharmacy contracting or contract support experience.
- Knowledge Operational knowledge of pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) operations, health plan requirements related to pharmaceutical contracts.
- Ability to analyze contract language and deal offerings, resolve ambiguities, and relentlessly provide/drive solutions.
- Expert knowledge of HCPCs, Medi-Span, ICD-10 coding systems.
- Expert knowledge of pharmaceutical pricing systems (ASP, WAC, AWP).
- Current understanding of prescription and medical benefits.
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma operational excellence models is preferred.

Salary Considerations
Anticipated annual base pay range $ 175,000 to $200,000 plus additional variable compensation.
