PH - Switcher FT-1

About the Role

This position involves handling packages and may include operating switching equipment or CDL vehicles. No prior experience is required, though six months of experience as a package handler or switching/CDL operator is preferred.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) file
• Ability to understand and follow work instructions and safety methods
• Ability to discern numbers and information for accurate package sorting
• Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes, and unloading devices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a package handler or switching/CDL operator

Job Conditions

• May work in hot and cold temperatures
• May work in environments with fumes
• May work in areas with loud noise
