Overview

Handshake is seeking experienced energy industry professionals to contribute to AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This opportunity does not require prior AI experience.

Details

• Using professional experience and hands-on knowledge to create expert-level training data and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance.
• Fully remote with a flexible, asynchronous schedule and no minimum hour requirement; typical participation is 5–20 hours per week when working on an active project.
• Placement based on current project needs, with potential for consideration for future projects.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, or production operations, including roles such as: Reservoir Engineer or Petrophysicist, Production Engineer or Reserves Analyst, or equivalent energy industry positions.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: Petrel, ARIESTechlog, Avocet, AVEVA PI.
• Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
