PET Tech

Responsibilities

• Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
• Affixes to assist in scheduling procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
• Collects clinical data for patient follow-up and development of teaching and educational information.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelors degree in nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program.
• Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience.
• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable.
• PET Technologist with (ARRT) (R) (N) (CT) or NMTCB (CT) highly desirable.

Physical Demands

• Work may require sitting for long periods of time; also stooping, bending and stretching for files and supplies.
• Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, operate a calculator, telephone, copier and other such office equipment.

Pay

Salary Range: $35.00-55.00 Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certification, etc. As of the date of this posting, in addition to your salary, RMCC offers the following benefits for this position, subject to eligibility requirements:
