About the role

Paws Around Motown is a professional mobile pet care company serving Oakland County. We are looking for a full-time Pet Care Technician to cover our west side route: Farmington, Southfield, West Bloomfield, Franklin, and Bloomfield Hills.

Responsibilities

• Dog walking, feeding, hydration, and medication administration in clients' homes
• Snout-to-Tail Health Assessments at every visit — you are the early warning system for that family
• Written client updates and photos through our CRM after every service
• Calm, confident handling of pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Occasional overnight care, new client consultations, and light marketing tasks
• Outdoor work in every Michigan season — including February

Requirements

• Open availability — mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, holidays
• Desire to have a career in pet care, not a fill-in until something else comes along
• Dependable to the minute and detailed to the dot
• Trustworthy with a key, a code, and a quiet house
• Stays calm when a dog gets sick, a key sticks, or a thunderstorm rolls in
• Clear communication before, during, and after every visit

$14.50 - $15.50 per hour
