About the role

The PET/CT Technologist at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers is a key member of the imaging team, responsible for performing and evaluating PET/CT procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Performs PET/CT procedures according to established protocols and evaluates images for technical quality.
• Evaluates work flow for process improvements and provides feedback to management.
• Ensures patient safety and maintains high standards of customer service.
• Provides in-service training on radiation protection and safety protocols.
• Coordinates coverage for imaging department staff in the absence of the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (Associate Degree preferred).
• Registered and in good standing with ARRT (N) or NMCTB.
• Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services (CMRT).
• CPR certified.
