Pet Nail Tech

Did you know a dog has three eyelids? Or that house cats share 95.6% of their genetic makeup with tigers? Our team members are pet lovers and like to know it all!

Responsibilities

• Perform quick services for all pets including paw package, nail trims and file, ear cleaning, nail polish, paw wax application
• Attend free, paid training through the world-renowned Paragon School of Pet Grooming for Nail & Ear tech program
• Recommend the perfect shampoo to make a dog's coat shine
• Polish the nails of feline friends
• Review and compare ingredient labels of several food brands for concerned cat parents
• Stock shelves and ring up neighbors' purchases
• Feed all furry pets and ensure their cages are clean
• Engage with PSP neighbors and provide exceptional, neighborly service
• Perform Dog Wash attendant duties: operate and supervise the bathing system, assist when appropriate
• Restock supplies, complete laundry tasks (clean dryer filters and hair traps), keep floors clean and dry
• Process neighbors' purchases with trustworthy accuracy and efficiency
• Provide Preferred Pet Club membership information to ensure neighbors don't miss outstanding offers
• Safely unload delivery trucks using proper equipment
• Stock shelves to ensure pets get their favorite chew toys and treats; help carry purchases to neighbors' cars
• Provide care for pets in store, including cleaning habitats, feeding, and handling animals
• Answer neighbors' questions on animal care to help them find or maintain the perfect pet
• Act as back-up for fellow Nail Techs when extra help is needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• All candidates must pass a drug and background screening
• Knowledgeable about animals and products to provide outstanding neighborly service
• Physically able to lift 40–65 lbs and stand for long periods

Pay

Hourly rate plus 30% commission on every service performed.

Schedule

Evenings, weekends, and holidays required; flexibility is essential.
