Pet Grooming Instructor
About the role
Northbridge University is seeking a Pet Grooming Instructor to join our dynamic team. Classes typically run from Monday to Thursday and can be scheduled in the morning or evening.
Responsibilities
- Teach pet grooming techniques to students.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with academic standards.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during classes.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or a related field.
- At least three years of professional experience in pet grooming.
- Pet grooming certification, preferred.
- Passion for education with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- NDGAA – National Dog Groomer Association of America – Pet grooming certification, preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be computer literate to manage course documents and educational resources.
- Ability to teach in both the morning and evening shifts.
