Pet Grooming Instructor

About the role

Northbridge University is seeking a Pet Grooming Instructor to join our dynamic team. Classes typically run from Monday to Thursday and can be scheduled in the morning or evening.

Responsibilities

• Teach pet grooming techniques to students.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with academic standards.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during classes.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or a related field.
• At least three years of professional experience in pet grooming.
• Pet grooming certification, preferred.
• Passion for education with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• NDGAA – National Dog Groomer Association of America – Pet grooming certification, preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate to manage course documents and educational resources.
• Ability to teach in both the morning and evening shifts.
