About the role
The role involves working in an outpatient imaging setting with a consistent schedule from Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Perform PET and PET/CT scans and produce high-quality images.
- Administer contrast and radiopharmaceuticals safely.
- Screen patients for contraindications and consult with radiologists as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and complete exam paperwork.
- Ensure the scan room is prepared and stocked.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly quality control.
- Assist in training new PET technologists.
Requirements
- ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
- Active state Nuclear Medicine license.
- BLS certification.
- Venipuncture training for contrast injection.
- High school diploma or GED.
- PREFERRED: Experience in an outpatient setting.
- PREFERRED: Familiarity with power injectors and imaging systems.
Qualifications

Skills
- Experience in conducting diagnostic imaging.
- Experience in managing patient care.
