Requirements

• Love animals, especially dogs
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Steady work history with excellent references
• Attention to detail
• Understand the importance of quality and safety
• Willing to feed and exercise the dogs, clean the enclosures, and do laundry
• Enjoy working as a team and get along well with others
• Dedicated to the animals under your care while at work
• Not mind hard work or working outside
• Willing to work on holidays or as needed

Responsibilities

• Learn how to clean and maintain a healthy environment
• Be taught feeding and exercising protocols
• Receive training on dog behavior and how to read body language during dog-to-dog interactions
• Perform labor-intensive work, being on your feet and working outside

Pay

Evening/weekend shifts receive a salary differential above base pay.

Schedule

We currently have evening/weekend shifts available: shifts can include days during the week and a Saturday and/or Sunday. Shifts can vary but usually start at 1:45 pm and end around 9:00 pm. Must be available to work Monday through Friday as well as weekends. Working days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Typical start time: 6:45 am – 2:00 pm. Typical end time: 2:00 pm – 8:30 pm.
