Pet Bather

About the role

Green Beagle Lodge is seeking a Weekend Dog Bather to join their Grooming team. This position is ideal for those passionate about working with dogs and ensuring they leave clean, comfortable, and happy.

Responsibilities

• Bathe dogs of all breeds, coat types, sizes, and temperaments.
• Thoroughly dry dogs using towels, dryers, and safe handling techniques.
• Brush coats to remove loose hair and minor tangles.
• Perform other basic bathing services as assigned.
• Safely handle dogs throughout the bathing process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized bathing area.
• Properly clean and maintain bathing equipment and tools.
• Work closely with the Grooming, Pet Care, and Client Care teams to ensure dogs are ready for pickup on time.
• Follow all company safety procedures and handling protocols.

Qualifications

• Genuine love for dogs and animal welfare.
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Patience, gentleness, and attentiveness while working with animals.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous bathing, grooming, or animal care experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.

• An in-person interview to meet the department manager and tour the facility.
• An offer letter detailing position, compensation, and employment terms.
• Orientation and training covering company policies, dog body language, safe handling, and bathing procedures.
• Hands-on training with our experienced Grooming team.

Pay Range

The Pay Range For This Role Is 15 - 15 USD per hour(Green Beagle Lodge Pittsboro)
