Pest Technician - We'll Train! (Base Salary, Commission & Bonus included)

About the role

The Pest Control Technician will report to the Branch Manager and will be responsible for providing guidance on the best extermination processes, establishing contact with potential customers, maintaining safety protocols, managing schedules, and addressing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment, such as wearing protective gear guidelines
• Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle
• Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner
• Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site

Requirements

• A Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Pest Control experience an asset
• Customer service experience
• Willingness to obtain your Applicator's License
• Sales experience an asset
