Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
  • Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
  • Provide educational services to customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
  • Offer advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients, help with sales to current customers, and expand the company's product offerings to new customers.
  • Maintain and stock all pest control equipment in good working condition.
  • Operate a company provided service vehicle safely and adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • A clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must be able to seal your face).
  • A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment background screen.
  • A state valid driver’s license and undergo a motor vehicle driving record check.
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
  • Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for following instructions on product labels.
  • Customer-facing experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Related experience and/or training.
  • Successfully meet pre-employment background screen.
  • State valid driver’s license.
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations.
  • Available to work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
  • Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.

Skills

  • Ability to work in tight, confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of animal, insect, and termite handling.
  • Experience with mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
  • Ability to drive a company provided service vehicle safely.
  • Willingness to learn and become knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
