Pest Control Technician--Western Chicago Service Areas

We're hiring technicians to service properties in Chicago suburbs such as Burr Ridge, Schaumburg, Naperville, and Oak Park—no pest control experience required. If you've worked (or wanted to work) in trades like HVAC, electrical, automotive, landscaping, or construction, this role will be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality pest management services in accordance with company, manufacturer, and governmental guidelines to residential customers
• Build strong relationships with customers to be attentive to their needs in controlling pest matters
• Solicit opportunities for customer base growth
• Read and follow all label instructions for products utilized while performing pest management services
• Develop and maintain records of field activities, such as but not limited to service tickets, inspection reports, and service agreements
• Collect payments from customers at the time of service, if applicable
• Partner with call center and office staff to schedule/reschedule services, prioritize work and arrange service calls as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• No experience in pest control necessary
• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required
• Maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen

Physical Demands / Working Environment

• Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions

• Great Pay and a recession-proof steady income—training wage starts at $25 per hour then move to 18% commission on services completed with potential to earn between $60,000 to $80,000 annually or more
