Pest Control Technician - Termite
About the role
Stark Exterminators is seeking a full-time Termite Pest Control Technician to provide service to residential and commercial customers using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach. The position is paid hourly.
Responsibilities
- Provide termite pest control services to customers
- Determine and apply prescribed treatments based on inspection graphs and specification sheets
- Prepare sites for treatment by removing and hauling debris
- Install and apply wood-destroying organism treatments such as Termite bait stations (Sentricon), trenching, and spray application
- Collect service payments from customers and answer their questions
- Maintain equipment and vehicle in proper condition
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Driver's License
- Ability to pass and maintain required licensing/certification exams
- Willingness to work at least 40 hours per week
- No prior experience necessary, training provided
Qualifications
- Passing a background check
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving materials
Skills
- Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
- Ability to read and interpret inspection graphs and specification sheets
- Basic knowledge of pest control products and techniques
- Good physical fitness and stamina

Pay
The pay rate is set at an hourly rate.
Schedule
Work is performed Monday through Friday, typically 8 hours per day, with some flexibility depending on the workload.
