Pest Control Technician - Termite

About the role

Stark Exterminators is looking to hire a full-time Termite Pest Control Technician to provide uncompromised service to our residential or commercial pest control customers utilizing an Integrated Pest Management approach (IPM). This is a position that is paid at an hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Determine the prescribed treatment as marked on the inspection graph and specification sheet and prepare site areas for treatment by removing and hauling off debris as prescribed.
• Apply wood-destroying organism treatments and techniques: Termite bait station (Sentricon) installation with auger and digging tools; trenching and applying liquid treatment to the exterior or crawl space perimeters of structures; drilling and applying liquid treatment to void spaces or blocks in crawl spaces and structures; spray application of product to affected areas.
• Collect service payments from customers and answer questions patiently.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition.
• Provide a calm, helpful demeanor to put customers at ease and devise personalized solutions.
• Demonstrate professionalism and drive for excellence each day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess current Driver's License
• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
• No experience necessary! We will train the right person.
