Pest Control Technician - Termite

About the role

Nader's Pest Raiders is seeking a full-time Termite Pest Control Technician to join their team. The position utilizes an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach to serve residential and commercial customers. The technician will be paid on an hourly basis and provided with a company vehicle and various benefits.

Responsibilities

• Determine and apply prescribed treatments based on inspection graphs and specification sheets
• Prepare sites for treatment by removing and disposing of debris as required
• Install and maintain termite bait stations (Sentricon)
• Trench and apply liquid treatments to exterior or crawl space perimeters
• Drill and apply liquid treatments to void spaces or blocks in crawl spaces and structures
• Spray affected areas with appropriate wood-destroying organism treatments
• Collect service payments from customers and assist with answering questions
• Maintain equipment and vehicle in good working order

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams
• No prior experience necessary; training will be provided to the right candidate

Qualifications

• Pass any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams
• Work at least 40 hours per week

A Day in the Life of a Termite Pest Control Technician

As a Termite Pest Control Technician, your days are filled with a variety of tasks. You start your route each day, ready to make a difference in your customers' lives. Your primary goal is to protect them from pests while building long-lasting relationships. You'll begin by inspecting the property and determining the best course of action. This may involve installing termite bait stations, trenching, drilling, or spraying. Throughout these processes, you'll need to be patient and attentive, ensuring that every step is done correctly to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment.
