Pest Control Technician- Sign on Bonus for Licensed IDPH Tech

Office Location: West Chicago, IL
Route Location: Chicago/Wilmette and surrounding areas
Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 for licensed IDPH Technicians at 90 days of employment

About the role

As a Pest Control Service Technician, you will provide pest remediation and prevention solutions to residential or commercial structures. A company vehicle is provided, and you will follow a daily schedule to ensure timely service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage a pest control route daily.
• Apply pesticides according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
• Arrive on time at each customer’s location and discuss the scope of service.
• Assist in sales and recommend pest control solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.
• Complete all scheduled appointments in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, implementing the best pest solutions for individual needs.
• Maintain professional appearance, equipment (vehicle, uniform, PPE, etc.), and accurate records.
• Devote full attention to duties during working hours as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal, written, and in-person communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and presentation abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, and bend as required.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest control experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read instructions, write simple correspondence, and use an iPad (provided).

Pay

Base hourly wage + commissions.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays).
