Pest Control Technician- Sign on Bonus for Licensed IDPH Tech

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage a pest control route daily.
• Apply pesticides to structures following safety procedures and label instructions.
• Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at customer homes (company vehicle provided).
• Discuss service scope with customers and assist in sales.
• Use in-house training to determine the most efficient pest solutions for customer needs.
• Provide industry-leading pest control and eradication services.
• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.
• Complete scheduled appointments on time in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for customers, implementing tailored pest solutions.
• Use safety equipment as instructed and maintain professional appearance and equipment (vehicle, uniform, PPE, etc.).
• Devote full attention to job duties during working hours as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• $1,000 sign-on bonus for a valid IDPH License.
• Strong verbal, written, and in-person communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as kneeling and bending.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest control experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and use an iPad (provided).

Pay

Base hourly wage plus commissions.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Office Location: West Chicago, IL. Route Location: Aurora, Yorkville, and surrounding areas.
