Pest Control Technician (Pest Control Tech)

Qualifications

• Must be able to get a state license
• Training provided for all technical skills
• Strong interest in pest control
• Able to operate hand tools, power tools and outdoor equipment safely
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to learn new skills quickly and follow safety protocols diligently
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work that may involve walking, lifting, pulling and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive training to develop skills in pest control techniques, landscaping, farming, and the use of various hand tools and power equipment
• Play a vital part in protecting properties from pests while gaining valuable experience in agriculture and customer service
• Assist with pest identification and treatment procedures using industry-standard methods and equipment
• Learn to operate pest control tools, power tools, and hand tools
• Support the application of pest control solutions around residential, commercial sites
• Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify pest activity
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
• Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to complete job assignments efficiently and deliver excellent customer service
