Pest Control Technician/ Exterminator -VA - Richmond

Overview

The Industrial Fumigant Company (IFC), a division of the Rollins Corporation, has been a leading provider of Pest Management and Consultation Services to the Food and Commodity Industries for over 85 years.

Responsibilities

• Take care of commercial accounts by conducting in-depth inspections, developing solutions and treating customer facilities
• Maintain excellent customer relations with business clients through professional service, knowledgeable communication and precise documentation
• Develop and maintain strong relationships by responding to customer requests in a professional and timely manner
• Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided, along with all company resources, to decide on the most efficient and best overall solution for each customer's needs
• Possess a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to work independently and to be self-motivated
• Develop knowledge and expertise in pest control methods and products through provided training
• Maintain accuracy of all customer and IFC records
• Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to work the necessary hours to complete complex customer requirements as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• No Experience Required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently
• Some Travel Required - throughout North Carolina

Physical Demands / Working Environment

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
