Pest Control Technician/ Exterminator - IL-Champaign

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth inspections, develop solutions, and treat customer facilities for commercial accounts.
• Maintain excellent customer relations through professional service, knowledgeable communication, and precise documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by responding to requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Serve as a problem solver for customers, utilizing in-depth training and company resources to determine the most efficient solutions.
• Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, work independently, and be self-motivated.
• Develop expertise in pest control methods and products through provided training.
• Maintain accuracy of all customer and company records.
• Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to work necessary hours to complete complex customer requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

• Good driving record and ability to pass a drug screen.
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.

Pay

$23.56–26.44 per hour.
