Pest Control Technician

About the role

The role involves inspecting residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and applying appropriate treatments to eliminate them. This includes using various pest control methods such as chemical treatments, physical barriers, and biological controls.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for signs of pests and document findings
• Apply pesticides and other pest control products according to manufacturer guidelines
• Install and maintain physical pest control barriers
• Provide customers with educational materials about pest prevention
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of common household pests and their life cycles
• Experience in pest control or related field preferred
