Pest Control Technician

About the role

This role focuses on conducting detailed inspections, identifying pest issues, and closing sales while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections.
• Solve customers' pest concerns.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Provide strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months sales experience.
• Minimum 6 months of home inspection experience.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer-focused and self-motivated.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Successfully passed a background check and drug screening.
• Must be 18 or over.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clean-shaven for safety purposes (may occasionally wear a respirator).
• Comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pest control, HVAC, solar, internet, cable, running an independent route, or other types of in-home technician experience is a plus.

Pay

• $30–$35/hour (base + service & sales commissions + monthly bonuses).

Schedule

• Treatment of approximately 12 to 14 homes per day.
• Routes consist of the same customers for all their services.
• Occasionally required to visit the warehouse for meetings, training, restocking of supplies, etc.
