About the role

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to service Hazleton and surrounding areas. In this role, you will identify, manage, and prevent pest infestations in residential and commercial settings through inspections, treatments, and client education.

Responsibilities

• Assess the type of pest infestation and determine the most effective treatment method for elimination.
• Manage customer expectations by providing clear guidance on post-treatment steps and precautions.
• Inspect customer premises to identify signs of pest activity and assess infestation severity.
• Complete all necessary documentation, including details of services provided and materials used.
• Coordinate with office staff to schedule appointments and ensure timely service delivery.
• Safely apply pesticides to affected areas, adhering to label instructions and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and tailor solutions to their pest control needs.
• Identify opportunities for additional services or product sales.
• Adjust treatment plans, including chemical concentrations or methods, based on infestation size and scope.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional pest control certification or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving history.
• 3 years of pest control experience and a certified Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicators license.
• Strong communication skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple service accounts daily.
• Physical capability to climb ladders, lift equipment, and work in various indoor/outdoor environments.
• Understanding of pest behavior, control methods, and safety protocols.

Pay
