Pest Control Technician

As a Pest Control Technician, you’ll work with newer model vehicles, state-of-the-art equipment, and user-friendly software in a supportive, non-corporate environment where you’re valued as an individual.

Responsibilities

• Arrive with an eager, motivated attitude to inform and ease customer concerns.
• Meet with customers, inspect and diagnose pest-related issues, and communicate findings in a comforting manner.
• Listen to customer needs, adapt accordingly, and educate them on pest findings and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) solutions.
• Treat interior, exterior, porch, and pool screen areas using proper IPM techniques with accuracy and quality.
• Prepare clear service notifications and detailed notes via in-house software on a company-provided cell phone.
• Follow a pre-arranged schedule, complete jobs in a timely manner, and maintain excellent customer service.
• Attend company meetings and training sessions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and new products/technology through self-research.
• Maintain company equipment with respect, cleanliness, and proper care.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in a drug-free workplace.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office daily.
• Personable and enjoy interacting with customers.

Prior pest control experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year (hourly pay plus commission opportunity).

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
• No nights.
• Occasional Saturdays as needed.
