Pest Control Technician

Job Summary

The Pest Control Technician position at Abell offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative and environmentally conscious pest management practices. This role involves providing guidance on effective extermination processes, establishing new business opportunities, adhering to safety protocols, managing schedules, and addressing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for identified infestation sources, including pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and other pest control methods.
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities.
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides, and power spraying equipment, such as wearing protective gear.
• Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in the company vehicle.
• Manage schedule and routes to ensure services are completed in a timely manner.
• Address customer needs and optimize their pest control program on-site.

Requirements

• A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Customer service experience.
• A Valid Applicator's License.
• Sales experience is an asset.
