Pest Control Technician--American Pest Control Peoria, Illinois

Overview

American Pest Control, your hometown brand across Central Illinois since 1951, recently joined OPC Pest Services and the Rollins Family of Brands. We are searching for Pest Control Technicians to perform pest management services in the Northern Peoria and Chillicothe, Illinois service area. Our pest professional positions offer full-time employment all year round!

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality pest management services in accordance with company, manufacturer, and governmental guidelines to commercial and residential customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers to be attentive to their needs in controlling pest matters.
• Seek opportunities for customer base growth.
• Read and follow all label instructions for products utilized while performing pest management services.
• Develop and maintain records of field activities, such as but not limited to service tickets, inspection reports, and service agreements.
• Partner with call center and office staff to schedule/reschedule services, prioritize work and arrange service calls as necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required
• Maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen
• Able to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions

• Competitive compensation—training wage starts at $25 per hour then move to commission-based pay with potential to earn between $45,000 to $65,000 base wage annually or more
