Pest Control Service Technician (Will Train)

Responsibilities

• Complete Orkin’s award-winning, company-paid training to learn pest control service operations.
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe customer visits.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and recommend additional services for comprehensive pest management.
• Serve as a problem solver, tailoring pest solutions to each customer’s needs.
• Complete all required service-related documentation using a provided hand-held device for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required—training provided.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company-paid).
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers.

Physical Requirements

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, and other challenging environments, including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator when required.
• Work in various weather conditions.
