Pest Control Service Technician (Will Train)

Responsibilities
- Complete Orkin’s award-winning company-paid training and learn the skills required to operate a pest control service route.
- Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer.
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services for a complete pest management program.
- Serve as a problem solver to determine the most efficient and effective pest solution for each customer.
- Complete all required service-related documentation using a provided hand-held device for speed and accuracy.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience required—training will be provided.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers.
Work Environment
- Must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations, including:
- Safely using a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Accessing crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
