About the role

As a Pest Control Consultant, you’ll sell the company's industry-leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers while maintaining a customer-focused service to grow the business. You’ll be the face of our national brand in your local community, helping clients protect their homes and families.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc.
• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on assessment findings.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to identify revenue opportunities.
• Partner with the Branch Manager to develop proposals and enhance pest household services.
• Complete home diagrams using Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of customer homes and potential challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge during new service installations to ensure job completion.
• Complete daily activities and track sales performance using the company sales CRM.

Essential Job Functions

• Regularly lift, carry, push, pull, or reposition objects up to 10 lbs., and frequently handle objects 11–20 lbs.
• Frequent movement including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles; maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
• Comfortably work with pests (e.g., spiders, flies, mosquitos, rodents) and in small spaces (basements, crawl spaces, attics).
• Safely operate and maintain a motor vehicle and equipment.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including OSHA-compliant respirators, and work in confined spaces.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license from your current state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; sales experience or training preferred.
• 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience preferred.
• Travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territory(s).

Pay

Base pay range: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour. Starting pay varies based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may include overtime, incentives, commissions, performance bonuses, and route assignment (where applicable).
