Personnel Coord Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Completes daily reconciliation, accounting, and cash balancing functions.
• Maintains cashier accountability and reports problems and shortages.
• Partners with Loss Prevention and front end management to resolve cash and other shrink issues.
• Assists with billing and invoices.
• Maintains sales book and reports sales information.
• Performs miscellaneous administrative duties such as ordering and managing supplies.
• Manages pre-employment drug testing and tax credit process.
• Coordinates the hiring process, including job postings, drug testing, and benefits administration.
• Handles payroll and benefits administration issues.
• Maintains associate HR records and ensures compliance with records retention policy.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
• May coordinate safety-related activities and service award programs.
• Serves as liaison between HR, Payroll, and Benefits Departments.
• Supports front end operations and ensures proper cleanliness.

Skills and Physical Requirements

• Sit for long periods of time, move, bend, stoop, kneel, twist and turn frequently.
• Reach, lift and maneuver items up to approximately 20 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination.
• Strictly adhere to confidentiality requirements.
• Organize and problem-solve efficiently.
• Perform one and two-step math calculations and basic computer skills.
• Operate calculator, telephone, computer software, and electronic equipment.
• Prioritize workload.
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate leadership skills.
• Work independently and handle interruptions.
• Comply with grooming and dress code standards.
• Utilize cleaning supplies.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $19.38 to $28.15 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on location, experience, qualifications, and applicable collective bargaining agreements. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay, paid holidays, bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
