Responsibilities

As an Ads Assessor (US), you will review online advertisements, rating them on relevance to search terms and providing feedback on language and cultural relevance to improve content, quality, and layout. Your goal is to make internet search and online advertising more relevant and interesting for millions of users.

Pay

Compensation is based on tasks completed and project availability. Estimated earnings may vary depending on task volume and program requirements, including quality and productivity, in accordance with the program's quality standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with full professional proficiency in English.
• Resident in the USA for the last 3 consecutive years, with familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs.
• Active user of Gmail, Google+, and other social media; experienced using web browsers to navigate and interact with various content.
• Daily access to a broadband internet connection, a smartphone (Android 4.1, iOS 8 or higher), and a personal computer with antivirus software.
• Need a barcode scanner app installed on your smartphone for certain tasks.
• This is an independent contractor opportunity; contributors choose when and how much they work, subject to project availability and quality requirements. No employment relationship with TELUS Digital is created.

Qualifications

You must complete an English language assessment, pass an open‑book qualification exam, and complete ID verification to be successful for the role. These assessments determine suitability for the position.
