Key Position Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Association Director of Personal Training, Executive Directors, and Membership Directors to maximize member engagement and assist members to reach their health and fitness goals.
- Oversees the Personal Training and Wellness Coach staff at each branch location.
- Utilizes data to make improvements as well as member feedback.
- Makes improvements to the fitness floor environment to ensure it is a welcoming place for current and potential members as well as health seekers.
- Ensures cleanliness of the fitness center and building is a high priority.
- Facilitates the improvement of the member experience based on member survey data as well as information from the branch leadership staff.
- Oversees 2 YMCAs and visits and supports each branch weekly.
- Supports these branches in wellness engagement, events, and member engagement events.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience leading and managing a team of fitness professionals.
- Hands-on experience developing and implementing personalized fitness plans for a full roster of clients.
- Demonstrated experience in attracting and retaining members through relationship building and effective marketing strategies.
- Keen business sense and understanding of the dynamics of human behavior change.
- Familiarity with current fitness trends.
- Current, NCCA accredited personal training certification.
