Personal Trainer/Strength Coach

About the role

Fitness Together is seeking a Personal Trainer Lead to assist the Studio Manager with recruiting, hiring, and training new Personal Trainers. This role requires a strong passion for coaching and a commitment to improving the skills of others.

Responsibilities

• Design safe and effective fitness programs tailored to individual client needs and goals
• Provide clients with a clear understanding of their fitness programs to foster commitment and motivation
• Create unique, memorable, and personal experiences for clients
• Interact with clients and team members with a positive attitude and empathy
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Represent oneself professionally through appearance, language, and behavior
• Coach clients to ensure continuous progress and reach their goals
• Adapt to each client's individual needs and provide attention to detail

Requirements

• Degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred
• Certification (NASM, ACSM, or similar) required
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required
• 1 year of personal training and program design experience preferred
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to collaborate and adapt quickly to different situations
• Emotional stamina to support clients' goals
• Ability to motivate and coach clients effectively
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
