Personal Trainer (Part-Time) - Student Affairs
About the role
The Personal Trainer provides members with customized fitness programs while educating them on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and attaining a healthier lifestyle.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains client base
- Instructs small group training or one-on-one training
- Educates members of current health and fitness issues and trends
- Executes individual fitness program design, demonstrates and teaches exercises while providing feedback on technique
- Greets and makes members/guests feel welcomed as they enter and exit the facility
- Treats all members and guests with respect
- Ensures safety of guests/members and takes preventative actions to decrease risk
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Physical Effort: Typically sitting at a desk or table

Education
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- Certifications/Professional Licenses: Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) - American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), First Aid CPR/AED - American Red Cross, Personal Trainer - American Council on Exercise (ACE)
