Personal Trainer (Independent Contractor)

About the role
The Union League of Philadelphia is looking for a personal trainer to work as an independent contractor for approximately 15 hours per week. Trainers are responsible for supporting members in their fitness journey by creating a positive member experience and a safe environment for members to exercise. Trainers will take new clients through a movement screen and introductory workout to properly design a program to meet their specific goals.
Responsibilities
- Develops safe and effective programs that help members achieve their goals
- Monitors and instructs clients during training sessions
- Maintains the cleanliness of the training floor – sanitize and put away all equipment after use
- Mindful of other members and/or trainers using the floor simultaneously
- Maintains communication with clients to schedule sessions and renew training packages
- Adds and completes appointments on MindBody schedule
Requirements
- Certified Personal Trainer with at least 3 years of training experience
- Trainer insurance
- CPR and AED Certified
- Experience with a wide age range of clients
- Friendly, personable, patient, and a great communicator
Preferred Qualifications
- Senior Fitness Specialist certification (not required but helpful)
Schedule
Approximately 15 hours per week.
