Personal Trainer (flexible, as-needed)

About the role

Are you a passionate Personal Trainer seeking flexible, on‑call opportunities? We are looking for an as‑needed/substitute Personal Trainer to join our fitness team at our client site in Spring House, PA. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys a schedule that fits their availability while making a meaningful impact whenever coverage is needed. Our Personal Trainers are true professionals. Their sole responsibility is to design customized workout programs and train our members based on their needs.

Responsibilities

• Design customized workout programs and train members based on their needs.
• Conduct fitness testing and assessments.
• Advise participants of results.
• Provide one‑on‑one personal training to members participating in the program.
• Educate members about the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training.
• Teach the proper and safe use of applicable equipment.

Requirements

• Current Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.
• Current Adult First Aid & CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre‑employment drug test.

Pay

The compensation for this role is commission‑based. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. We strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.

Flexible, on‑call, as‑needed/substitute schedule that fits the trainer’s availability while providing coverage as needed.
