About the Role
A Personal Trainer at Crunch Franchise serves as a brand ambassador, delivering a positive fitness experience to members and clients. The role focuses on member retention and client acquisition through education and guidance on comprehensive fitness programs, including resistance and cardio-respiratory training, general nutritional guidelines, and nutritional product recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding initial personal training experience for introductory package clients.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive fitness programs tailored to clients’ goals, incorporating exercise selection, nutritional programming, and lifestyle education.
- Inform clients about available fitness tools to support their goals.
- Set expectations, hold clients accountable, and track progress through goal setting and follow-up discussions.
- Demonstrate safe and proper exercise techniques.
- Instruct members on proper use of club equipment and exercise techniques.
- Assist in member service activities (e.g., fitness seminars, boot camps, body fat tables, supplement/nutritional product demos) as requested by club management.
- Deliver a positive fitness experience during the Smart Start Kick Off for members and guests.
- Assist in maintaining a neat, organized, and clean club environment, including racking weights.
- Design comprehensive fitness programs using company-provided tools.
- Schedule personal training sessions, appointments, and administrative tasks using company systems (ABC/Datatrak).
- Execute Trainer Business Plan and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Possess one or more of the following certifications:
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer or Health Fitness Specialist
- American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer Certification
- The Cooper Institute Personal Trainer Certification
- International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), or Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES)
- National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification
- National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT) Personal Trainer Certification
- National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer or Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist (CSCS)
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
- At least 18 years of age.
- Eligible to work in the United States and able to provide proof of eligibility.
