About the role

This position performs technical benefits calculation work including interviewing applicants to obtain information; securing and verifying required documentation; interpreting and applying program rules and regulations to determine initial and/or ongoing eligibility for public assistance programs.

Requirements

• Education Requirement: Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certificate
• Experience Requirement: Three years public contact work obtaining and evaluating data or three years of experience explaining policies, procedures, statutes, and/or regulations to the public
• A combination of appropriate education and experience may substitute for the minimum education and experience requirement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate and three full years of clerical experience
• Public contact work obtaining and evaluating data or experience explaining policies, procedures, statutes, and/or regulations to the public
