About the role

The Personal Lines Account Manager for High-Net Worth is responsible for conducting annual reviews of clients’ insurance programs, staying current on lifestyle changes that impact risk profiles and coverages, negotiating with carriers on clients’ behalf, discussing potential risks, recommending appropriate coverages, and providing overall stewardship of risk management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage a book of business by developing, maintaining, and expanding client relationships while addressing their business needs.
  • Review exposures and current insurance programs for assigned clients.
  • Determine if the current carrier best addresses the client’s needs, including coverage, protection, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with producers on proposed plans of action and coverages for new accounts to align with client needs.
  • Provide daily service, anticipate customer needs, and respond to client questions and issues in a timely, consultative manner.
  • Keep customers informed about pending changes in the insurance industry that may impact their coverage.
  • Monitor carrier activities to ensure they fulfill responsibilities (e.g., timely policy issuance, accurate claims handling).
  • Complete account reviews and ensure best-in-class account management to optimize customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Share feedback with producers regarding potential opportunities.
  • Ensure timely adherence to processes, including coverage reviews, work in EPIC, and updates to umbrella policies for comprehensive coverage.
  • Identify and communicate policy exclusions or changes to clients, along with potential mitigation options.
  • Stay informed about insurance companies, marketplace changes, coverages, exclusions, and options to provide optimal service balancing cost and protection.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated attention to detail.

  • High level of initiative, teamwork, and resourcefulness to find win-win solutions.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of prior insurance industry experience with High Net Worth clientele preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree or higher desired, or equivalent experience.
  • Property & Casualty license required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with agency management software systems; preference for Applied EPIC.

Pay

The base compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000. Placement within the range will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
