Personal Lines Account Manager
About the Role
This position is for anticipated future need in account servicing of high-net-worth clients. Reporting to the Personal Lines Territory Supervisor, the Personal Lines Account Manager for High-Net Worth is responsible for conducting annual reviews of clients’ insurance programs, staying current on changes in clients' lifestyles that impact their risk profile and coverages, negotiating with carriers on clients' behalf, discussing potential risks, recommending appropriate coverages, and providing overall stewardship of risk management solutions for clients.
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage a book of business by developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with clients and addressing their business needs.
- Review exposures and current insurance programs for assigned clients.
- Determine if the current carrier is the best fit for the client’s needs, including coverage, protection, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with client advisors on proposed plans of action and coverages to align with client needs.
- Provide daily service, anticipate customer needs, and respond to client questions and issues in a timely and consultative manner.
- Keep customers updated on pending changes in the insurance world that may impact their coverage.
- Monitor carrier activities to ensure they fulfill their responsibilities (e.g., policies, endorsements, claims).
- Complete account reviews and ensure best-in-class account management for optimal customer experience.
- Follow processes on a timely basis, including coverage review, work in EPIC, and updating umbrella policies.
- Identify and communicate exclusions or changes to clients’ policies and potential mitigating options.
- Remain informed about insurance companies, marketplace changes, coverages, exclusions, and options to provide the best service.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of prior insurance industry experience with High Net Worth clientele is preferred.
- Associate’s Degree or higher is desired, or equivalent experience.
- Property & Casualty license required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficient with agency management software systems, preferably APPLIED EPIC.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
