About the Role

The Ward Law Group is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our growing team in New York City. This role focuses on handling motor vehicle liability and automobile accident cases from intake through settlement, representing plaintiffs in New York.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from intake through settlement, including case strategy, documentation, and compliance.
• Complete Flip-to-Lit and TD approvals, manage release approvals, and guide clients through the case lifecycle.
• Draft and prepare pre-litigation documents such as demands and settlement packages.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
• Supervise 6–10 Case Managers, ensuring KPI compliance and maintaining quality control standards.
• Conduct recorded statements, prepare clients for Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), and attend 50-h hearings.
• Focus primarily on personal injury cases, especially motor vehicle accidents.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• 3+ years of personal injury or motor vehicle accident experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Leadership ability and a self-starter mindset.
• Excellent writing and advocacy skills.

Pay

$120,000–$160,000 base salary, plus a non-recoverable draw, standard commission/bonus structure, and a full benefits package.
