Responsibilities
- Manage and litigate motor vehicle accident cases from filing through resolution.
- Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, and demand packages.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda and briefs.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
- Work with expert witnesses, including coordinating conferences and assisting with expert reports and affidavits.
- Guide clients through each stage of the litigation process and maintain strong client communication.
- Collaborate with support staff and leadership to ensure cases progress efficiently.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including training programs and seminars.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience practicing as an attorney.
- 5 years of litigation experience.
- At least 2 years of personal injury litigation experience.
- Active Kentucky Bar license and good standing required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume litigation caseload (50+ cases).
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong client communication and client service skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
- Self-starter with strong professional drive and long-term career goals.
