A dynamic and experienced Personal Injury Attorney is sought to join our legal team. You will advocate for clients suffering from accidents, securing compensation through successful negotiations, strategic litigation, and comprehensive case management.
- Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, and general liability.
- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and client correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to maximize client recoveries.
- Prepare cases for trial by gathering evidence, coordinating expert witnesses, and developing litigation strategies.
- Maintain detailed case records and ensure all documentation complies with legal standards and deadlines.
- Provide exceptional client service by explaining legal options clearly and advocating passionately on their behalf.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in Personal Injury Law and be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about obtaining great outcomes for our clients.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
- 1-3 years proven experience in personal injury law with a track record of successful negotiations.
- Bilingual (Portuguese or Spanish) a plus.
- Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive legal drafting.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases involving multiple legal disciplines including litigation, negotiation, and legal administrative processes.
